The solution is a module within NETBAS which is also well suited to running analyses in order to fix faults and incidents on the grid.
“The strength of the solution is that it can handle large grid areas with simple functions. Although there may be several hundred incidents within a short time, users can easily find the faults and pass the information on to the installers in the field,” says the product manager for NETBAS at Powel, Kjetil Kvamme.
Modern field solution
Powel has developed an up-to-date SaaS solution called Field Inspection, which is linked to NETBAS Maintenance. This makes it easy and straightforward for the installers to report on completed jobs from out in the field. At the same time, the people working with NETBAS in the office can keep track of work done and plan the maintenance work better.
“The documentation from Field News is automatically entered into NETBAS Maintenance, so all the information is in one place. This provides a huge efficiency gain for the grid companies,” says Kvamme.
