In late January Powel held courses for LKAB as part of the delivery of Powel Benchmark Registry and Powel Surveyor. The solution will make LKAB able to manage the system and read measures data directly from surveying total stations. This combination allows all calculation and maintenance of benchmarks to be processed through the same system, improving efficiency and quality assurance. Two other mining companies, Boliden and Zinkgruvan, use the same solution as LKAB provided by Powel.
