Partnership delivers efficiency and reliability to vegetation management programs

Under the agreement, Powel will integrate its powerful software suite into URMC’s utility-focused risk management solution, allowing for the customization of Powel’s software to better serve URMC’s customers, which includes leading utility companies in North America.
URMC provides utilities with a complete managed service that uses aerial remote sensing and digital imaging technology to identify and inventory utility companies’ transmission assets, as well as nearby vegetation. The service then provides solutions for mitigating threats and documenting the elimination of these risks at a fraction of the cost of a traditional fly-over audit.
