New contract provides more efficient, accurate meter data management system for more than 400,000 customers

Powel, a global utility software solutions company today announced it has signed a contract with Amplex-Emirates LLC to deliver a Meter Data Management System (MDMS) to Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority. It is one of Powel’s largest MDMS collaborative efforts providing a complete solution for automatic meter reading (AMR).

The Powel solution will provide a complete meter data management system for more than 400,000 electricity and water customers. The agreement is based on software license and professional services. It also includes options for expanded meter data management and new services.
