License Broadens Powel’s Distribution and Long-term Planning Portfolio
Trondheim, Norway (March 1, 2007) – Powel, a global utility software solutions company today announced that the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) has licensed its Project Prioritization System software (P2) to be sold through Powel’s growing international distribution channels.
The P2 system provides utilities with a powerful tool for deciding how to effectively allocate budget dollars among many competing projects that cannot readily be compared including:
• Reliability projects
• Capacity increases
• Infrastructure replacements
• Voltage correction projects
• Generation plant upgrades
