Trondheim, Norway, 13 October, 2006 – Powel ASA and breakoutimage A/S announced today the two companies have signed a distribution agreement making breakoutimage’s TeleNET software a certified plug-in for telecom planning and documentation on Powel’s NetBas network information system. With this agreement, Powel ASA and KMD A/S, Powel’s Denmark distributor, will offer the same depth in documentation and planning software for fiber and telecom that Danish utilities have come to expect in the electricity sector from Powel’s NetBas platform.
NetBas provides a powerful, IT-driven solution unlike any other in the energy industry. This innovative, integrated platform delivers unprecedented business functionality for operational resource planning, enabling utilities to speed decision-making and drive substantial improvements in profitability and customer service. Now, with TeleNET from breakoutimage A/S, the telecom part of the utility business will be able to experience the same rich support.
Combining NetBas with the TeleNET software provides a unified, Oracle-based platform for all documentation on fiber and other utility areas.
