Argus software is an advanced GIS solution that allows utilities to store geographical data in a standard SQL database and present it according to the end-user’s requirements. It offers robust hydraulic modeling, asset development, and maintenance capabilities, enabling users to create a detailed network inventory and maintain an accurate picture of the physical and operational state of all network components.
With this acquisition, Powel ASA will become the leading supplier of spatially enabled software to the utility industry in Denmark. Powel ASA will obtain access to 16 new utility clients and more than 200 Argus software users in Denmark. Powel will be offering its total portfolio of products through its Danish distributor KMD A/S to this extended customer base.
