Powel has signed contract regarding delivery of Meter Data Management as a partner and sub contractor to Telenor Cinclus to supply software system and services that will support their Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) - project with Fortum. The contract value is ranked among top three in the history of Powel. Through this delivery, which consist of software, services and maintenance, Powel further strengthen its position within the fast growing market for AMR, supporting more than 3 million meter readings in the Nordic countries.
In this project, the meter collecting software system Powel Elin will be an important part of Telenor Cinclus` service platform. Powel will deliver software for data collecting and meter data validation for 835.000 Fortum customers in Sweden.
