Powel MDMS is a stand-alone application consisting of a repository of meter data from smart metering solutions or manually read data. It receives data in many forms and from sources like electricity, heat, water, gas, temperatures etc. Time resolution could be from seconds to months and all imported data are represented and further managed as time series. It validates and edits the data before it is stored and applied for analysis, calculations, reports and sent to billing system. For rollout of smart metering projects, Powel MDMS includes a strong meter device management tool that includes work orders and logistics for large scale deployment of meters etc.
