Powel’s business activities outside Norway are operated through subsidiaries or partners. Both categories are intended to work on a self-contained basis in their respective local markets. Powel expects its partners to have the necessary skills and competence to serve international customers with the same accessibility and quality as customers in the home market.
The Partner development program comprises the following main business elements:

- Project implementation
- Maintenance activities
- Service and support
The local partners stay in close contact with the central development and second line support staff in Trondheim. Depending on available capacity and competence, the partners also participate in product development activities, especially those affecting the market in which they operate. The PowelSchool offers intensive training courses for partner representatives to develop highly professional skills to improve their interactions with customers.
Powel has already developed partnerships according to these guidelines in Sweden, the U.S.A. and in the CzechRepublic.
