This part of the system gives an overview of the disturbances (planned or incidental) that occur in the network at any time. If a part of the grid is out of power, the module can quickly generate a list of customers affected. Based on information from the system, one can take immediate action to re-route power supply to a maximum of customers, limiting the affected area. These measures will be linked to the actual disturbance, so that the normal connection can be quickly restored when the original problem is solved.
This module of the software also provides the data for recording of faults- and outages, for generation of management information, and for customer information over web and call center. Due to the increased amount of information and improved overview of the operational picture it will be possible to solve problems that occur more quickly, affected customers can be informed faster and more accurately, and reporting of faults – and outages can be significantly simplified.
